Welcome to my new Blog!

Here is where I start to discover my likes, dislikes and ultimately what kind of a designer I want to be!

This blog will help me discover my passions, by collecting my thoughts, ideas, research and experiments within my area of interest - 'Sustainable and Good Design'.

I want to understand and appreciate what 'Good Design' really means to me and what it means to others! Can we change people’s perception of waste and educate them about the effects their actions have on our environment? I would like to think so.

By reading books, watching documentaries and researching design innovation, in particular 'how to design out waste', I hope to be inspired about the possibility of finding a solution to some of the problems our planet is facing.

Currently in the 3rd year of a BA Design degree at Goldsmiths University of London. My passion for design is both 2D and 3D; I enjoy making, photography, graphics and CAD. I thrive on finding problems and really enjoy every aspect of the design process, from generating ideas, through to prototyping and final production. I attended the University of the Arts, (London College of Communication) in 2009 where I studied a Diploma in (3D) Interior Design awarded (distinction).
